Code I001 will set if the Ignition is ON, engine is not running and the sensor resistance at the Instrument Cluster was at or above 25 ohms for 5 successive readings in a 2.5 second time period.

TEST EXPLANATIONS

The circled numbers refer to the test procedures in the trouble tree.

1. This step checks to see if the open is in the Fuel Pump/Oil Pressure Switch/Sender or the rest of the circuit.

2. This step checks to see if the open is in CKT 31 or the Instrument Cluster.
