Code I009 will set if the Ignition is in RUN and the serial data link speed is 5 MPH or greater than the vehicle speed input for 5 seconds and the Vehicle Speed Input at the Instrument Cluster is LO.

TEST EXPLANATIONS

1. This step checks if a short to ground exists in circuit 389 and components sharing CKT 389 or the Instrument Cluster is at fault.

2. This step determines if the short exists in CKT 389 or a component sharing CKT 389.
