Brake Pedal Travel
When the vehicle is stopped and the ABS is pressurized, it is possible to push the pedal, until it bottoms near the floor. This travel is normal while system is pressurized. Excessive travel occurs when braking action does not begin within the first 1.25 inches of pedal travel, while system is pressurized. Excessive pedal travel also exists when pedal travel exceeds 3 inches, when applying light pressure, while Powermaster III unit is depressurized.
