Coolant Level Indicator Lamp: Description and Operation

Coolant Level Sensor/Low Coolant Light (Chart C-16 Wiring Diagram):

When the coolant level is low, the coolant level sensor indicates to the ECM that the engine is low on coolant. The ECM then turns on the LOW COOLANT LIGHT in the dash to warn the driver.
