This bulletin updates the intake plenum bolt torque specification for the 1991 3.1L (VIN T) engines used in Regal applications. The current specification, found on pages 6E3-C2-9 and 6E3-C2-18 in DRIVEABILITY AND EMISSIONS (Section 6E3-C2), "Fuel Metering System," of the Regal Service Manual is incorrect. The correct intake plenum bolt torque is 10.0 N-m (88 lb.in.). The intake plenum is shown in Figure 1.
