Low Pressure Cutout Switch

A/C Low Pressure Switch:

DESCRIPTION

The Low Pressure Switch, mounted in the compressor, is closed when the system has a sufficient amount of refrigerant charge. When to little refrigerant is in the system, the pressure will drop below 40 psi approximately and the switch will open causing the A/C compressor clutch to disengage.
