Note: The Diode Assembly uses two diodes in series. You must use a meter that can measure the forward resistance of two diodes in series. The Kent-Moore J34029-A Digital Volt-Ohmmeter (DVOM) or an equivalent DVOM with a Diode Test position can be used. Consult the DVOM Instruction Manual for further information about which scale to use.

Set the DVOM to the Diode Test position. Measure across the Diode Assembly in both directions, B to A and A to B. The reading should be less than 2 but not 0 in one direction and greater than 100 in the other direction. If either reading is not correct, replace the Diode Assembly. If both readings are correct, the Diode Assembly is operating normally.
