Test B: Sunroof Does Not Automatically Stop In Closed Position

Sunroof moves back and forth, but does not stop in the fully open and/or fully closed position.

Hint: If the Sunroof moves in both directions, the Sunroof Switch and Motor are OK.

Check the Position Switch. This can be done by measuring continuity across the Position Switch with the Sunroof in open and closed positions. Continuity across the closed contacts should only exist when the Sunroof is properly seated in the fully open or fully closed position. Replace the Sunroof Control Unit if the Position Switch and external wires are good.
