Without Daytime Running Lamps (DRL)
HEADLIGHTSBattery voltage is applied to the Light Switch at all times. When the Light Switch is in HEAD, voltage is applied to the Headlight Dimmer Switch which directs voltage to the LO Beams. When the Headlight Dimmer Switch is placed in HI, battery voltage is applied to the HI Beam lights and HI Beam Indicator.
FOG LAMPS
The Fog Lamps are controlled by the Light Switch. They can be turned on with the Park Lights or Headlights ON. With the HI Beams on, the Fog Lamps go out.
The Fog Lamp Relay controls battery voltage to the Fog Lamps. The Fog Lamp Switch applies voltage to the relay coil. The relay coil is grounded through the HI Beam filaments. When the HI Beams come on, battery voltage is at both sides of the relay coil. The relay and Fog Lamps turn off.
FLASH TO PASS
When the Headlights are OFF or in LO Beam the HI Beam Headlights can be turned on momentary by pulling back part way on the Multi-Function Lever. This supplies battery voltage to CKT 11 turning on the HI Beams. The HI Beams will go out as soon as the lever is released.
