SUBJECT: FRONT TIRE CONTACTS FASCIA (MODIFY FASCIA AS INSTRUCTED)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1991-92 REGAL GRAN SPORT COUPE


CONDITION:

Front tire rubs front fascia wheelhouse flange, causing noise and wears paint off flange.

CAUSE:

Small portion of fascia is inside area required for tire.

CORRECTION:

Modify fascia as follows:

1. Turn front tires full left.

Fig 1:

2. Using a sharp utility knife, remove fascia material from right side of vehicle as shown in Figure 1.

3. Trim corner off lower edge of fascia flush with wheelhouse liner.

4. Turn tires full right and repeat steps 2 and 3 on left side of vehicle.
