PASSENGER AND/OR DRIVERS SEAT BACK RATTLE AT LOWER PIVOT PIN (INSTALL WASHERS)

MODELS AFFECTED:

1988-92 REGALS


THIS BULLETIN HAS BEEN REVISED TO INCLUDE THE 1991 AND 1992 MODEL YEARS. PLEASE DISCARD BULLETIN NUMBER 90-10-5.





Seat back rattle or chucking may be repaired by installing two (2) wavy washers, P/N 17967750, and one flat washer, P/N 17967025 as described and illustrated. This repair should be applied to both passenger and drivers seat.

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.

1. Remove front seat back as described in Section 10 of the Service Manual.

2. Install one flat and two wavy washers as Illustrated.

3. Reinstall seat back and torque all bolts to specified values as called for in the Service Manual, Section 10.
