SUBJECT:
WATER ENTERS STORAGE COMPARTMENT WITH DECK LID OPEN (INSTALL NEW BACK GLASS LOWER REVEAL MOLDING)

MODELS AFFECTED:
1991-92 REGAL SEDAN


CONDITION:

Water enters rear storage compartment when deck lid is open.

CAUSE:

Back glass lower reveal molding flange acts as a ramp for water running down back glass. Water "jumps" gutter and enters storage compartment if deck lid is open.

CORRECTION:

Install new design back glass lower reveal molding, P/N 12516127 using Service Manual procedures located in Section 10-2 of the Service Manual
