Positive Crankcase Ventilation: Testing and Inspection
PCV Valve:
PROCEDURE
1. Remove Positive Crankcase Ventilation ([1][2]PCV) valve from engine.
2. Shake valve and listen for rattle. If valve does not rattle or is clogged with sludge, replace it.
