Chart A Blank Odometer Display

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
A loss of IPC display and messages can result from the following:
^ Loss of +12 volt Power (CKT 640) to the IPC.
^ Loss of ground (CKT 803) to the IPC.
^ Internal IPC fault.

TEST DESCRIPTION
Numbers below refer to circled numbers on the diagnostic chart.
1. Check the IPC power and grounds
2. Power, Ignition 3, and ground circuits to the IPC are functioning, therefore the fault is either in the terminal contacts or internal to the IPC.
3. The 12 volt feed to the IPC is not functioning. Therefore an open in CKT 640 is indicated.
