Horn: Description and Operation

Battery voltage is applied at all times to the Horn Relay at terminals "E1" and "E3". When a Horn Switch is pressed, it provides a ground to the Horn Relay. The Horn Relay contacts close, applying battery voltage to the horns (two with wagon, four with sedan). The horns continue to sound until the Horn Switch is released.
