THIS BULLETIN HAS BEEN REVISED TO ADD SERVICE CENTERS AND REPLACES SERVICE BULLETIN 92-9-6 WHICH MAY BE DISCARDED.

The above subject program provides an Exchange/Repair for radios used on all 1992 models.

The following is a listing of the exchange units that are available through the Level I Delco Radio Service Centers listed at the end of this bulletin.

Before placing a call for an advanced exchange, complete the dealer required information on the ACD-1078 claim form. This information will be required from you before an advanced exchange can be shipped. Following are some tips to save you time.

1. If you have more than one carline dealer code, use your five (5) digit Buick dealer code.

2. Double check the VIN. A bad VIN will delay the processing of your exchange.

3. Complete vehicle mileage (to the nearest mile) will be required.

4. To assist in failure analysis, any technician notes will be requested from you.

Once the required information is obtained, your Advanced Exchange Product Order will be immediately processed. Upon receipt of your Exchanged Product, follow these simple procedures:

1. Match your completed ACD-1078 claim form against the Return Material Authorization (RMA) form that will be included with the product. This will identify the vehicle and customer for which the product was ordered.

2. Immediately return the failed product reusing the special shipping carton and return label provided with your exchange unit.

3. Include the completed ACD-1078 claim form and the Exchange Center copy of the RMA form with the return shipment to the AC-Delco Service Center.

4. Return the product using UPS Ground Transportation.

The ability to service our customers is affected by the availability of exchange products. The prompt return of failed product is important to the level of service that can be provided.
