Forced Entry System (RPO UA6)

System Check - Normal Operation (Forced Entry):






NOTE: Forced Entry System (UA6) allows a bi-directional scan tool to activate/monitor the following theft-related outputs and inputs.

Inputs:
^ LH/RH front door lock cylinder switch input - if scan tool indicates inoperative switch, do Remote Accessory Control (RAC) Module Input/Output Test I and check RAC module connector C3 terminal A.

^ Tamper switch input - if scan tool indicates a closed tamper switch, do Tamper Switch Test H.

Outputs:
^ Headlamps alarm output - if inoperative, do Remote Accessory Control (RAC) Module Input/Output Test I, check RAC module connector C3 terminal G.

^ Horn alarm output - if inoperative. do Remote Accessory Control (RAC) Module Input/Output Test I, check RAC module connector C3 terminal H.

^ SECURITY indicator control output - if inoperative, do Remote Accessory Control (RAC) Module input/Output Test I. check RAC module connector C3 terminal C.

^ Replace ignition key if required.

NOTE: If interior lamps do not operate when the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter unlock button is pressed, refer to interior lamps for diagnosis before continuing with Theft Deterrent System: Forced Entry (UA6) diagnosis.
