Interior Lamps

CIRCUIT OPERATION:
When a door is opened or the panel/interior lamp control (on dim/twilight sentinel control) is operated, a ground path is provided to light the footwell, door, header courtesy, and door warning lamps.

Voltage is also applied to the engine compartment lamp. It lights when its switch closes, providing a ground path.

Voltage is applied at all times to the cigar lighters and the I/P compartment lamp, which lights when the I/P compartment is opened, closing its switch and providing a ground path.

The luggage compartment lamp comes on when the luggage compartment lid is opened, closing its switch and providing a ground path.

The vanity mirror lamps come on when the mirror is opened, closing its cover switch.
