TCC/Antilock Brake Switch

The TCC/Antilock brake switch is integral to the electrical and vacuum release brake switch.

The EBCM/EBTCM monitors brake pedal position using the TCC/Antilock brake switch. The switch Is normally closed but it opens when the brake pedal is depressed approximately 40%. During most ABS braking the EBCM/EBTCM turns on the pump motor. The EBCM/EBTCM turns off the pump motor when brake pedal height rises sufficiently to close the TCC/Antilock brake switch.
