DTC 41

Powertrain Control Module:

TEST DESCRIPTION
1. Turn ignition "OFF" and clear codes.
2. Start engine and run for 1 minute.
3. Re-check for codes. If code 41 recurs, there is a PROM error (not installed properly, wrong PROM for the vehicle, or faulty PROM.) If Code 41 occurs intermittently, PROM may not be securely locked in place. Check installation and make sure locking tabs are properly secured.
