CIRCUIT OPERATION

DOOR COURTESY, INSIDE LIGHTED MIRROR, I/P COURTESY, REAR COURTESY AND READING LAMPS

Voltage is applied through the CTSY Fuse at all times to the Door Courtesy Lamps, Inside Lighted Mirror Lamps, I/P Courtesy Lamps, Rear Courtesy Lamps and to the Reading Lamps. The Door Courtesy, Inside Lighted Mirror, I/P Courtesy and the Reading Lamps will light whenever a door is opened or whenever the Headlight Switch is turned to "DOME." The Inside Lighted Mirror Lamps, the Rear Courtesy Lamps and the Reading Lamps also have separate switches in the circuit. When turned to "ON," the switch allows for individual operation of these Lamps.

RH VANITY MIRROR AND UNDERHOOD LIGHT
Voltage is applied through the CTSY Fuse at all times to the RH Vanity Mirror Lamps and to the Underhood Light. The RH Vanity Mirror Lamps will light whenever the Visor is pulled down and the cover is opened. The Underhood Light will light whenever the hood is opened.

CIGAR LIGHTER, I/P COMPARTMENT AND TRUNK LIGHT
Voltage is applied through the CTSY Fuse at all times to the Cigar Lighter, I/P Compartment Light and to the Trunk Light. The Cigar Lighter has a heating element that, when pushed in, completes the circuit and begins to heat up. When the element is sufficiently heated, the Cigar Lighter opens the circuit. The I/P Compartment Light will light whenever the UP Compartment is opened. The Trunk Light will light whenever the Trunk Lid is opened.

DELAYED ILLUMINATION
The Interior Lights will come "ON" for approximately 30 seconds when the last door is closed (Dome Light Switch "OFF") or when the Dome Light Switch is moved to "OFF" (all doors closed). This feature is a product of the Headlight Switch.
