Drive Belt: Description and Operation

Serpentine Belt:

A single (serpentine) belt is used to drive all engine accessories, unless equipped with an air injection pump. The air injection pump is driven by its own drive belt. The serpentine belt driven accessories are rigidly mounted with belt tension maintained by a spring-loaded tensioner assembly. Belt routing is shown in the illustration.
