TRAILING LINK
1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Disconnect anti-lock brake system electrical harness connector, if equipped.
3. Remove trailing link to knuckle attaching nut and bolt, then the trailing link to body attaching nut and bolt, Figs. 5 and 6.
4. Remove trailing link.
5. Reverse procedure to install, torquing trailing link to body nut and trailing link to knuckle nut to specifications.
FRONT LATERAL LINK
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
2. Remove rod to knuckle bolt, then the exhaust pipe heat shield.
3. Lower to fuel tank to gain access.
4. Remove lateral link to knuckle attaching bolt.
5. Remove lateral link to suspension crossmember attaching nut and bolt, then the lateral link.
6. Reverse procedure to install, Torquing lateral link to suspension crossmember nut to 140 lb ft and the lateral link to knuckle attaching bolt to 157 lb ft
REAR LATERAL LINK
1. Raise and support vehicle, then remove tire and wheel assembly.
2. Remove transverse spring as previously outlined.
3. Remove lower auxiliary spring bracket from rod.
4. Remove rear lateral link attaching nut from crossmember.
5. Push bolt forward enough to provide clearance for link removal, then remove rear lateral link.
6. Reverse procedure to install, Torquing lateral link to crossmember attaching nut to 157 lb ft and the rear lateral link to knuckle attaching bolt to 140 lb ft
