Troubleshooting Hints

TRY THE FOLLOWING CHECKS BEFORE DOING THE SYSTEM CHECK.

1. Check Body Fuse 2 by operating the Courtesy Lights.
2. Check Turn Signal Fuse 7 by operating the Turn Signals.
3. Check ground G3OO by operating the Glove Box Light.
4. (With Keyless Entry) If the Theft Deterrent System will not arm or disarm with the portable Keyless Entry Transmitter only, refer to keyless entry system. Keyless Entry

^ Use the System Check Table as a guide to normal operation.
^ Refer to System Diagnosis for a list of symptoms and diagnostic steps.

NOTE: To reduce alarm noise, muffle the vehicle horns with rags. Put all windows fully down before testing.
