Troubleshooting Hints

1. Check that the mirror is getting power by observing that the label on the mirror is illuminated in the "AUTO" position.

2. Check the Transaxle Position Switch and I/P Fuse Block Fuse 17 or Fuse 18 by checking operation of the Backup Lights.

3. Be sure photocells are bit dirty or obstructed.

Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check (see "Diagnostic Aids").

Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems (see "Diagnostic Aids").
