Oil Pump Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove oil pan as described previously in Oil Pan / Service and Repair.
2. Remove pump to rear cross shaft bearing cap bolt then remove pump and driveshaft assemblies.

INSTALLATION
1. Install oil pump and driveshaft assemblies (figure 20).

NOTE: Align slot on end of driveshaft assembly with drive tang on distributor driveshaft.

2. Install bolt/screw attaching oil pump to rear cross shaft bearing cap and torque to 105 Nm (77 ft lbs).
