CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION

Based on the various sensor assembly inputs. Input from the ECM and the set temperature. the microprocessor determines the required temperature and delivery mode to achieve and maintain the selected comfort level.

Preliminary Inspection:

1. Check the condenser assembly for debris which may obstruct airflow through the fins.

2. Check the plenum area (at base of windshield assembly) for any debris which may present proper airflow into the vehicle interior.

3. With air conditioning system operating. check accumulator assembly temperature. Accumulator assembly temperature should be near freezing (cold to touch). If this is not true, service the refrigeration system.

4. Check the air conditioning system for overcharge. Recover. recycle and recharge air conditioning system if it is overcharged. There should be 1.4175kg (3.125 pounds) of R-12 refrigerant.
