SUBJECT:
POPPING NOISE AT FRONT SEAT ADJUSTERS (INSTALL NEW CLIP)

MODELS AFFECTED:
1993 BUICK ROADMASTER LIMITED

CONDITION:

Some owners may comment on an objectionable popping noise from the right and/or left front seat adjusters.

CAUSE:

Above normal play in the scissor arm attaching studs of the adjuster assembly.

CORRECTION:





Install a 1/2" "E" clip, P/N 9418771, on the stud shoulder side of each scissor arm attaching stud. There are two scissor arm attaching studs per seat. (See Figure 1.)

This procedure should be performed on both driver and passenger seat if owner comments are received.
