Service Procedure and Identification Label
SERVICE PROCEDURE1. Remove the old engine oil dipstick (labeled "Engine Oil" on dipstick handle). An incorrect dipstick will have Part No. 10108623 stamped on metal stick.
2. Install new engine oil dipstick (Part No. 10232187).
NOTICE:
Do not replace original dipstick if Part No. 10232187 is stamped on stick.
3. Check the oil level.
4. Add 5W-30 engine oil, as necessary (within the proper operating range, but not over the cross-hatched area).
5. Install Campaign Identification Label.
CAMPAIGN IDENTIFICATION LABEL
Each label provides a space to include the CAMPAIGN NUMBER, the five (5) digit dealer code of the dealer performing the campaign service, and the date vehicle was campaigned. This information may be inserted with a typewriter or ballpoint pen.
Each "Campaign Identification Label" is to be located on the radiator core support in an area which will be visible when the vehicle is brought in for periodic servicing by the owner.
Apply "Campaign Identification Label" only on a clean, dry surface.
