Fluid Level Sensors

MASTER CYLINDER
The master cylinder is equipped with a brake fluid level switch located at the reservoir's base. The switch illuminates the red BRAKE indicator when the master cylinder brake fluid level is low. For additional information, Refer to "Warning/Indicator Operation". Warning/Indicator Operation


PRESSURE MODULATOR VALVE (PMV) RESERVOIR
When the PMV reservoir fluid level is low, the switch located inside the reservoir opens. This signals the EBCM/EBTCM to deactivate ABS/TCS and illuminate the amber "ANTILOCK" and "TRACTION OFF" indicators, but does not set a diagnostic trouble code.
