Fault Indicator
Any system error causes the fault indicator to illuminate. The fault indicator remains lit as long as the diagnostic trouble code is active. If the fault corrects itself, the fault indicator turns OFF, but the diagnostic trouble code is retained in the Computer Command Ride (CCR) controller's memory. Diagnostic trouble codes are stored in the CCR controller's nonvolatile (EE-PROM) memory. If a diagnostic trouble code is set, a 1 second self-diagnostic test is performed at 3 minute intervals. The fault indicator comes on during this test and goes out if the fault is corrected. If the fault still exists, the indicator remains ON.
