Door Locks
If the Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) Transmitter Unlock Button is pressed once, it will turn on its output at Conn C2 term "C."When the RKE Transmitter Unlock Button is pressed once, the driver's door will be unlocked. The RKE Module receives the transmitted signal and activates its output at Conn C2 term "C." This applies battery directly to the LH Front Door Lock Motor which is grounded through the Automatic Door Lock Relay.
Pushing the Unlock Button twice within 5 seconds results in the RKE Module activating its output at Conn C2 terms "D" and "C." The driver's door motor is driven directly by the RKE Module as described above, and the Unlock Relay in the Door Lock Relay Assembly is energized, causing the passengers' doors to unlock.
Pushing the Lock Button results in the RKE Module activating its output at Conn C2 term "E." This energizes the Lock Relay in the Automatic Door Lock Relay and locks the doors. The driver's door is grounded through the RKE Module when locking.
