1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove right and left side sound insulators.
3. Remove instrument panel lower trim plates, Fig. 15.
4. Remove air vent deflectors, then three glove box attaching bolts.
5. Remove five instrument panel trim plate attaching screws, then trim plate.
6. Remove seven lower instrument panel trim pad to instrument panel attaching screws.
7. Slide rubber collar up steering column, then slide clip off with gear selector as shown in Fig. 16.
8. Remove five instrument cluster to instrument panel attaching bolts, then pull cluster straight out.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
