Backup Lamp: Description and Operation

With the ignition switch in "RUN," "BULB TEST" or "START," voltage is applied through I/P Fuse Block Fuse 1B to the Park/Neutral Position Switch. With the gear selector lever in "R," voltage is applied to the Backup Lamps. Because the Backup Lamps are permanently grounded at G400, they will remain lit until the gear selector lever is moved out of the "R" position.
