Troubleshooting Hints

TRY FOLLOWING CHECKS BEFORE DOING SYSTEM CHECK
1. Check I/P Fuse Block Fuse 1B by visual inspection.
2. If backup Lamps light in the wrong gear, adjust/replace Park/Neutral Position Switch.
3. If only one backup Lamp is inoperative, check bulb(S), connection(S) and wiring to suspect lamp(S).
4. If Lamp Monitor (if equipped) does not indicate a backup Lamp outage, Refer to Lamp Monitor for diagnosis. Testing and Inspection
5. Check that ground G400 is clean and tight.
6. Before component replacement, check for poor connections at related component and in-line harness connector terminal connections. Refer to General Troubleshooting Hints. Diagnostic Aids
