1. Raise and support vehicle and place jackstands under cradle. Vehicle weight should not be placed on control arms.
2. Remove wheel assembly.
3. Install drive axle boot protectors.
4. Remove nuts, washers, bushings and bolt securing stabilizer shaft to each control arm, Fig. 10.
5. Remove stabilizer bar mounting bolts, two bolts from each side, Fig. 11.
6. Disconnect tie rods from steering knuckles.
7. Remove exhaust pipe between exhaust manifold and catalytic converter.
8. Rotate right side strut assembly completely to the right.
9. Slide stabilizer bar to the right over steering knuckle and pull downward on left side until stabilizer bar clears cradle, Fig. 12.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
