The following information must be followed to prevent damaging the oil level sensor during removal of the oil pan and baffle.

Notice:
The oil level sensor (located in the oil pan), must be removed before the oil pan. It the oil pan and baffle are removed first, damage to the sensor may occur when the baffle contacts the sensor.

The following information must be followed to prevent damaging the oil level sensor during installation of the oil pan and baffle.

Notice:
The oil level sensor (located in the oil pan), must be installed after the oil pan and baffle. If the oil level sensor is installed first, damage to the sensor may occur when the baffle contacts the sensor.
