Troubleshooting Hints

Perform before beginning System Diagnosis

1. If no seat functions operate, check PWR ACC Circuit Breaker.
2. If Rear or Front Height function is inoperable, but entire seat moves up and down, replace Seat Switch.
3. If the entire seat does not move up and down, but Rear and Front Height functions operate properly, replace Seat Switch.
4. If a motor's internal circuit breaker trips, it will reset only after voltage is removed from the motor.

^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check refer to Diagnostic Aids. Diagnostic Aids
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems refer to Diagnostic Aids.. Diagnostic Aids
