Troubleshooting Hints

Perform before beginning System Diagnosis

1. Check HORN Fuse by visual inspection.
2. If HORN Fuse blows when replaced, check CKT 40, CKT 29 and horns for a short to ground.
3. If only one Horn sounds, check CKT 29 and the suspect Horn (refer to Diagrams). Diagrams

^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check refer to Diagnostic Aids. Diagnostic Aids
