Battery Run Down Protection

The Inadvertent Power Control output of the Multi-function Alarm Module applies voltage to the Courtesy, Header, Vanity Mirror, Reading, I/P Compartment and Luggage Compartment Lights with the Ignition Switch "OFF," the output timer will shut off power to all the above lights after 18 to 22 minutes if the vehicle has travelled more than 15 miles since battery voltage was applied to the module. If the vehicle has travelled less than 15 miles since battery voltage was applied to the module, the output timer will shut "OFF" the lights after 2 to 4 minutes.
