Ignition Key and Lock Cylinder Change

General Motors has made styling and design enhancements to the ignition keys and lock cylinders. This change increases the shoulder length by 3 mm and removes the notch in the key blank.
The old key blank, P/N 26038483, can be used on the 1994 N car. A new interchangeable key blank, P/N 26049133, is being released for the 1994-95 N and 1995 J car.
The old key blank is being discontinued. Use old key blank on 1994 N car only.

Key Cutter Parts Information
There is no need to change key cutter equipment. If there is difficulty cutting ignition keys, please contact your local key cutter representative. Two suppliers are listed below, however, other suppliers may be contacted on an individual basis.
