Stop Lamps

Voltage is applied at all times through the STOP HAZARD Fuse to the Stop Lamp/TCC Switch. When the brake pedal is depressed, voltage is applied to the Center High Mounted Stop Lamp (CHMSL) and also to the Stop Lamps through the Turn Signal Switch.

If the Hazard Switch is "ON," the Stop Lamps will continue to flash when the brake is applied. The CHMSL will light steadily, however, since it is fed directly from the Stop Lamp/TCC Switch.
