Engine Coolant Temperature Warning Indicator
The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Warning Indicator monitors the Engine Coolant Temperature Signal from the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor via the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). At an Engine Coolant Temperature of approximately 260°F (or 125°C), or a sensor resistance of approximately 44 Ohms, the PCM will illuminate the Engine Coolant Temperature Warning indicator. The Indicator will also be illuminated for a bulb check when the ignition Switch in "BULB TEST" with the Engine not running.
