Rear Wipers
1. Check WDO Circuit Breaker by operating Power Windows (if equipped). If open, check CKT 41, CKT 391 and CKT 392 for a short to ground.2. Check PWR ACC Circuit Breaker by operating the Rear Defogger and observing the indicator.
3. If Panel Light does not operate, check INST LPS Fuse by observing other Instrument Panel Lights If OK, check bulb, socket and related wiring.
4. If Washer Motor does not operate, check that:
^ Washer Reservoir is filled.
^ Hoses are correctly attached.
^ Nozzles are not clogged.
^ Connector seal at Washer Motor is not damaged or missing.
5. Check for binding or broken wiper arm linkage.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system malfunction but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check with a system disconnected .These circuits may be intermittent or resistive when loaded, and if possible, should be checked by monitoring for a voltage drop with the system operational (under load).
^ Check for proper installation of aftermarket electronic equipment which may affect the integrity of other systems.
^ Refer to System Diagnosis.
