Circuit Operation - Interior Lights Dimming

With the Headlamp Switch in HEAD or PARK, voltage is applied to the Remote Dimmer Module. The Interior Lamp Control applies a variable control voltage to the Remote Dimmer Module. The potentiometer in the Interior Lamp Control cannot provide enough current to operate the panel lamps. The module amplifies the current and applies a variable voltage to the panel lamps. As the amount of current increases, the lamps become brighter. As the amount of current decreases, the lamps become dimmer.
