Activation



To activate the Delco Loc II theft deterrent system the customer may enter a six. digit numeric code. This same code is entered. to "unlock" the radio after a battery voltage interruption, or to deactivate the Delco Loc II. feature.

To set the user code and activate deterrent each step must be preformed with 15 seconds of the previous step. The following example shows how to set the six digit code "123456":

NOTICE: Do not wait more than 15 seconds between steps.

1. Turn the ignition lock cylinder to the "RUN" or "ACCESSORY" position and the radio/CD player "OFF" and press in preset 1 and 4 buttons simultaneously for about five seconds until the display changes to "-".
2. Press the "SET button". "000" will appear on the display.
3. Set the first digit of the code by pressing the "SEEK" button until the desired digit appears. "100"
4. Set the second and third digits by rotating the "Tune" knob until the desired digits appear. "123"
5. Press the "TUNE" button to enter the last three digits into memory. "000" will appear on the display.
6. Set the fourth digit of the code by pressing the "SEEK" button until the desired digit appears.
7. Set the fifth and sixth digits by again rotating the "Tune" knob until the desired digits appear. "456". Press "AM/FM" and "rEP" should appear.
8. Repeat steps 2 through 7 to complete the activation procedure, then "SEC" will appear on the display to indicate the unit is secure.

When battery voltage is resumed, after a voltage interruption to a secured radio, the radio will not turn on and "LOC" will appear on the display.
