Fig. 47 Instrument Panel Removal.:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove instrument panel lower trim plate, then instrument panel cluster.
3. Remove turn signal switch, then tilt wheel lever.
4. Remove steering wheel. If applicable refer to Air Bag Arming and Disarming. Air Bag Systems
5. Remove headlamp switch assembly.
6. Remove instrument panel compartment.
7. Remove instrument panel valence panel, then defroster grille.
8. Remove screws to instrument panel carrier, then remove instrument panel, Fig. 47.
9. Reverse procedure to install.
