Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
NOTE: The Multi-Function Alarm Module will "go to sleep" 3 or 20 minutes after "key off," depending if the vehicle has travelled over 15 miles. Until the Multi-Function Alarm Module "goes to sleep," it will draw 60-80ma. Once the Multi-Function Alarm Module "goes to sleep," the amperage draw will drop to 3-15ma.

1. Check ALARM Fuse and INT LAMP Fuse by visual inspection.
2. Refer to Door access.
3. Refer to Power Mirror Switch access.
4. Check for poor connection at Ground G302.
5. Refer to System Diagnosis.
