Component Tests and General Diagnostics

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. If no seat functions operate, check PWR ST Fuse by visual inspection.
2. Make sure G302 is clean and tight.
3. If Rear or Front Height function is inoperable, but entire seat moves up and down, replace Seat Switch.
4. If the entire seat does not move up and down, but the Rear and Front Height functions operate properly, replace Seat Switch.
5. If a motor's internal circuit breaker trips, it will reset only after voltage is removed from the motor. Refer to Seat access.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check (See Diagnostic Aids for General Troubleshooting Procedures). Diagnostic Aids
