Troubleshooting Hints

PERFORM BEFORE BEGINNING SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS
1. If HORN fuse blows when replaced, check CKT 40, CKT 29 and Horns for a short to ground.

^ Refer to Steering for Steering Wheel and Column disassembly information.
^ Check for a broken (or partially broken) wire inside of the insulation which could cause system failure but prove "GOOD" in a continuity/voltage check (See Diagnostic Aids for General Troubleshooting Procedures). Diagnostic Aids
